Design Competition for pupils from primary schools
This competition is open to all pupils aged 6 - 14 years in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It offers pupils a unique opportunity to broaden their understanding of community history and develop a range of skills including research and art and design.
What does the competition involve?
Using archival material provided by the Institute, the pupils create an album cover with the songs of the Polish Legions.

The Pilsudski Institute in London (full name: Joseph Pilsudski Institute for Research in the Modern History of Poland) is an archive, museum and research centre devoted to the study of modern Polish history and named after the Polish interwar statesman Józef Piłsudski. We are a non-profit organization devoted to collecting and preserving historical sources related to the history of Poland. We aim to illustrate the importance of the collections through research and educational activities, making them available for visitors, researchers and the wider public in the UK, Poland and worldwide.
