Trenches of Hope
As the world turns its attention to commemoration of the global conflicts, the Jozef Pilsudski Institute of Research exhibition: “Trenches of Hope” - The Influence and Effect of the Polish Legions on Post First World War Europe” aims to recognise the remarkable, but largely unknown, contribution made by Polish Legionnaires in these conflicts.
Original posters, photographs and documents including personal artefacts depict the history of the Legions.The unique presentation of the exhibition brings to life the atmosphere and nature of the battle for freedom and independence.
