One hundred years ago today the treaty ending the Polish-Soviet war was signed in Riga.
The Peace of Riga meant an official ending to a bloody conflict between a reborn Poland
and the Soviet Union and established the Republic of Poland’s borders until the Yalta
and Potsdam Conferences when they were redrawn again.
Thanks to a donation from The Ministry of Polish Cultural Heritage we have digitised the collections of Jozef Pilsudski’s brothers: Jan, Bronislaw and Kazimierz.
They are available to view on our website. The collections contain fascinating materials which document their work but also some more personal documents, often humorous memories and anecdotes about Marshal Jozef Pilsudski.
