Selected topics in conservation and restoration in English: Workshop for Polish students, 2nd-3rd April
Earlier this month at the request of the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw Adam Klups delivered a two-day long workshop ‘Selected topics in conservation and restoration in English’ for the faculty’s students. The aim of the workshop was to familiarise students with useful conservation/restoration terminology in English, as well as encourage them to use ‘conservation’ English and read texts in English relevant to their studies. The workshop also created a great opportunity for Adam to tell the students about his work at the Institute and the Church of England.
The workshop was extremely well received and Adam is already discussing developing its formula and organising more of these in the future with the dean of the faculty.
