Jozef Swirysz-Ryszkiewicz was born on May 15, 1888 in Warsaw, died in 1942. Battle painter, soldier.
He learned painting from his father, also an artist, Józef Ryszkiewicz. The subject of his paintings were scenes of hunting, battles and rural life.
