2021-11-03 Today in 1866 Bronislaw Pilsudski was born. As famous as our patron was, his brother was also a very well known and celebrated figure. While Joseph’s talents lay in statesmanship, Bronislaw’s passion was ethnography. His research is recognized and valued by ethnographers all over the world even today. Read more

2021-03-18 The Treaty of Riga One hundred years ago today the treaty ending the Polish-Soviet war was signed in Riga. The Peace of Riga meant an official ending to a bloody conflict between a reborn Poland and the Soviet Union and established the Republic of Poland’s borders until the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences when they were redrawn again. 2021-01-08 New digitalised collections available to the public Thanks to a donation from The Ministry of Polish Cultural Heritage we have digitised the collections of Jozef Pilsudski’s brothers: Jan, Bronislaw and Kazimierz. They are available to view on our website. The collections contain fascinating materials which document their work but also some more personal documents, often humorous memories and anecdotes about Marshal Jozef Pilsudski. Read more
